The S67 helical worm gearbox is one of the workhorses of the S family: a 67 mm centre distance, two-stage helical-worm gearing, and mounting variants covering the S67, SA67 and SAF67 builds in the same frame family. It suits buyers who need dependable right-angle reducer performance - 94~96% efficiency, quiet running, and a cast-iron body that survives dusty, humid or outdoor installations.
Several mounting variants share the same gear set - foot with a solid shaft, hollow-shaft output, flanged versions and torque-arm builds - so one spare-parts pool covers many machine types. Bearings are fitted from HRB, LYC, ZWZ or C&U as standard, with SKF, FAG, INA or NSK available on request, and the unit is lubricated for life under normal duty with GB L-CKC220~460 or Shell Omala 220~460.

Frame numbers follow the centre distance, from 37 mm up to 97 mm in the sizes we stock. Mounting variants do not change performance: every S/SA/SF variant of a frame uses identical gearing.
A grain terminal powers its bucket elevators with SF77 gear reducers. The anti-run-back option holds the loaded buckets during power cuts, and standard interface dimensions meant the old foundations were reused as they were.
A logistics integrator selected SA67 units for pallet lifts. The hollow output bore carries the lift screw directly, and one year of three-shift operation has passed without a single seal replacement.
Conveyor, mixer, crusher and wastewater duties share the same gear family.
Take a 4 kW motor at 1440 rpm stirring a paddle mixer at 29 rpm. The ratio follows directly: 1440 / 29 = 50, so i=50 is selected. In this case the self-locking worm stage holds the paddle when the motor stops. Motor speed over target speed gives the ratio; the driven machine decides the service factor, and the two together decide the model.

The service factor is a multiplier applied to your required torque to cover shocks and duty class - typically 1.0 for uniform duty, 1.25 for moderate shocks, 1.5 or more for heavy shock loads. Send us the driven machine and duty and we will apply the correct factor.
Standard units suit -10 to +40 deg C ambient with the supplied mineral oil. For lower temperatures we fill with synthetic oil; for higher ambient or frequent starting we advise the next larger frame or an oil cooler.
